This 100% Malbec is filled with worn leathers, cassis and woody herbs.The solid tannin structure gives way to a long lingering finish. The intense aroma of ripe mountain blueberry jars your senses by a beginning of black raspberry, and a middle of fennel - black licorice and ending with a pleasantly tart ripe cherry-plum finish. It is age worthy and we recommend one hour of breathing before drinking. This is a serious wine that can be paired with grilled medium-rare beef, i.e. Florentine style T-bone or Porterhouse steak.
