The Savor Cannon Beach Wine & Culinary Festival offers a series of six unique wine tasting experiences March 7-10, 2019, including the opportunity to taste some of the top award-winning wines from recent wine competitions paired with chef-designed appetizers. Each spring, thousands of wine- and food-lovers gather in Seattle for Taste Washington, the nation’s largest single-region wine and food event. Taste Washington brings together over 235 wineries, 65 restaurants and 60 culinary exhibitors from across the region for the ultimate four day experience. The result of a continued partnership between Visit Seattle and Washington State Wine, Taste Washington will be held March 2019. Years ago, Cayuse Vineyards began releasing their wines on their own weekend, and many people came to Walla Walla just for that event. Other wineries soon caught on and many wine and food events now fill the entire weekend, with wineries offering their own new releases. Cayuse Release Weekend has become the unofficial start of the wine tasting season in the Valley.

During Spring Release Weekend visitors can be among the first to enjoy newly released wines, many of which can only be found by visiting the wineries and tasting rooms themselves. It’s a fantastic opportunity to talk directly with Walla Walla Valley winemakers about the new vintage, and gain insight into the creative winemaking process.
