2010 Columbia Valley Sangiovese

This 81% Sangiovese from the Brunello clone is fabulous. The vineyard mix is Dwelley, Kiona and Seven Hills Vineyards. To meld the flavors we added 12% Lewis Vineyard Syrah and 7% Dwelley Vineyard Malbec. The sweet-saddle nose, followed by a middle of black cherry, roasted game, and porcini escorts you to the sweet tannins and delightful spice finish that lingers pleasantly on your palate. This outstanding Sangiovese is age-worthy and comes alive with many classic rich Tuscan dishes.
