We are releasing our 2008 Cuveé. Some of you will want to add it to your collection and host an eleven year vertical tasting. The 2008 Cuveé has a deep-red, inky hue and a Kir nose. It has a jam-packed beginning of ripe huckleberry and black currant, with a mid-palate of chocolate covered cherries and ends with an unbelievable finish of crushed oxheart cherry over French vanilla ice cream. This magical blend contains fruit from eight vineyards – Cordon Grove, Dwelley, Frazier Bluff, Goose Ridge, Killian, Sagemoor, Spring Creek, Wienbau and seven grape varietals - 42% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 7% Malbec, 5% Carmenere, 3% Syrah and 2% Petit Verdot. 89 Points - July 2011 Wine Spectator |
